The rears last a long time. The fronts are don't last as long due to the lack of ride height control on the front of Tamiya cars. Other cars may not have this problem, especially the 1/10 pan car based cars (corally, etc)
ROBK, thanks for the info. More than likely I'd be running a 17.5 with a SPX. My home track has no F1 class so I would be running the car on practice days for fun. Since I'm not running a really powerful motor it sounds like tire life shouldn't be too bad.
