Sounds like you might have leaned on it a little hard there mekios. Generally that pinch bolt screw needs to be firmly nipped up, not really cranked up tight, as this can actually cause the pinch bolt ends to dig into the carb throat causing a dent. Then you can never get the carb really locked in solid.
Removing the carb requires the pinch bolt ends to be tapped out of the crankcase in order to get the carb to move. Pull the carb up with a twisting motion to remove it, as they can still be quite tight even after the pinch bolt ends have been removed.
Not sure how your going to get that screw out though. That could be a tricky one.
I have never come across this problem before. The pinch bolt set up on the GO's is pretty soild.
