Futaba and Hitec shared same Spectra modules, and 3PK and Lynx 3D was same... Or am I way off?

You are correct. You can go with the spektrum module. I also heard that the Futaba Fasst 2.4ghz module work in Hitec CRX radio. The CRX replaced the Hitec Lynx.
