As for the stock class I am not sure. One track near me doesnt really care and the other only runs spec with what comes in the box then you can switch components with the old SC10 rtr, slash, or blitz. So I am really up in the air.
Stay away from the track that runs spec!! You will spend a small fortune in brushed motors in no time
Did that for a while with my slash, and by motor #3 in the season I figured out that spec is NOT the way to go for cheap racing in the long run at 25.00 per motor.
