Had some issues in qualifying, the chassis flexes like a mofo so one of my motor wires popped off and shorted in qualifier 2. Half ass solder job I guess.
I ran the Cavalieri setup to start with, silver rear springs and 32.5 AE oil in the shocks and it was crap for the dusty clay track. Switched over to the standard setup with green rears, 25 rear oil and 30 front, threw on some jconcept double dees and the car was much easier to drive. I'd stay away from the Cav setup unless the track is super high traction.
I'm always leery of using another person's setup. It's a setup for a particular person and track conditions. That is why Cav used the carbon arms, to take away some of the bite.
I wonder if you were to use the carbon front and rear chassis braces, this would take away some of the chassis flex. Another tuning option?
