replace fuel lines, and exhaust gaskets. that engine shouldnt be that hot. sound like you have some sort of small air leak running that hot. i had an engine that normally runs around 220 run at 260 one day and it was as simple as a bad exhaust gasket.
well someone at the track today said every engine runs differently so i am ok with running around 290 as long as it says around that area.....
