You can run any sensored motor on a sensorless ESC . All the hall sensores do is tell the ESC where the rotor is positioned . Its when you try and run a sensorless motor on a sensored ESC that you will have a problem (unless it has a sensorless mode) .
Whats the Sidewinders current rating ? You should be OK as long as you are careful with your gearing .
