From what I've seen, this motor and kv have a rep for running hot and gearing doesn't help that much. If its runnning over 200F, it won't last long, you'll weaken/demag the magnets inside the motor.
I've got a 60t spur on it now and I'm not sure about the pinion, but what kinda kv would I want for a 3s, 6800?
