I was at the hobby shop today picking up a new starter box and the guys were grilling me about my new motor. I wouldn't say anything at first, but finally gave in and told them it was the clocked evo3 (sexy blond). well the guy standing next to us mentions he has a clocked B5 (sexy redhead). I couldn't help but laugh. what are the chances? word is getting out lol. I don't think you can go wrong with either. we are going to look like two bullets shooting up and down the track. I haven't had time to break her in yet ..hopefully this weekend.

I really look forward to hearing how you like the engine.... the mod EVO 3 is a really solid running engine, a little slow to fully wake up, but rock solid running with a really impressive performance envelope...bottom to top that engine has no gaps... its a horse out of the corners and will scream on top with the best of them.... Tho I will say the top end will take a little fuel before it fully opens up...they tend to be a little lazy on top till all the pinch is nearly gone.... One day the engine will just drop its nuts and pick up a whole new note on the top end, and from there every day that you drive , it will get faster and faster.....so keep that in mind ! However it will be worth it, as that EVO 3 fully tuned and broken in on a 086 has one of the nastiest exhaust notes your ever going to hear..they are loud and nasty !
