use 30% and the shimming is on the money
idle setting at race tune will be around 3/4 turn out from just closed on the slide barrel

odo99 plug will work fine for this engine
i dont remember the "specs" per se but if i remember correctly it was the short stroke big bore design that i am pretty sure the vspecs were designed after

( dont quote me but i am pretty sure) , it might have been the sbk?
anyway good engine , use it until its done as they are not compatible parts wise with any engine out there today

if youre happy with that clutch setup i would continue with using it , if not i would probably try three blue aluminum (losi) shoes with gold and one carbon (losi) with green and make sure you have the good clutch bell
