Option 1 will most likely allow ESC's like the LRP Sphere which had timing profiles inbuilt. Other NO TIMING ESC's do not have this so already there is a inequality
I just think that if an ESC has no timing available it will stop people putting in "just a little bit" and help bring stock back to stock. But what ever the result it will be better than the super charged stock classes I witnessed in Townsville at the Nats.
