I own and have raced both.
I prefer the Hyper for my driving style since it's a tad more planted with a wider wheel footprint and is a little more forgiving than the Jammin. It can be pushed harder in the twisties/rough stuff without getting upset as easy but in stock configuration the Jammin is more nimble and better balanced in the air. Steering mods on the Hyper even up the steering between the two. It boils down to how much work and changes you want to make and what your driving style is. If you're good at finesse driving, or run on smaller high-traction indoor type tracks the Jammin would probably suit you better. For larger or more open tracks the Hyper is, in my experience, a better option and more durable.
