from everything I have seen putting the shimming up to .8 is going to hurt bottom end not help it...... Maybe I am wrong here, but I have never seen an engine gain bottom end by lowering compression ..... The stock FMS runs a pretty low trapped compression ratio to begin with, if it was me I would be reducing the shim stack, not adding to it if your looking for more bottom end......... sorry to butt in !
I didn't see him say anywhere he was looking for more low end , that wasn't the topic or goal to achieve in this case ? Unless I missed something
