I also have seen a recent issue with the hitec servos I have purchased.

Been using Hi-Tech for years and never ever had a issue. Ran the 5955 series and loved them, When the 79xx series came out I was stoked and got a set.... both failed on me. One just stopped working and the other all the teeth on the internal gears bent, or became wavey(if that makes sense).

Sent them back and got new ones in no time, but I am very worried now and dont have the confidence in them as I used to. Hi-Tech servos do carry a 3 year warranty wich is great, but I hope this set I have makes it past 3 months, as the last set did not.
