Yep that's a typical motor failure situation. I've seen it happen a couple times with 7955's. I guess every one can't be perfect. Even Hitec has manufacturing problems occasionally. Fortunately they WILL stand behind their products.
Yeah but will they stand behind a blown motor caused by there faulty product. I saw a new OS Speed blow the a few weeks ago at a race. Throttle servo was brand new. Not sure if it was a hitec tho.
