Just out of curiosity what tyres were the first and second place guys running?
1. Peter Erna 104 laps, 45min
2. Juho Hattunen 95 laps, 45min
Hi there Raman,
I think both were driving GRP soft(est) which also a very good tyre. It's the "spec" tyre in our GT series. In this open race we allowed all brands though.
The difference with Ipanema was that GRP takes 1-2 laps before it starts working, Ipanema does not require it, it worked right from the beginning. But Juho was very fast all the way since he was the TQ, too. Just a bit unlucky not to win the 1st place as the shock spring "plate" flew off in a collision. Peter was very constant and that shows in the result.
Myself, I went directly to A-main, but was marshalling the B-main so didn't have much time to check my car before the main. Right after the start I had to pull off because my center drive shafts were loose and lost many laps/time. But that's racing and need to be careful, I wasn't clearly. Anyhow, it was so great and 45min final is great, too!
