I have learnt well my master
Well, I just mount it there with M3 screws. If required, put some spacers to make sure they are upright. I believe for the bottom of the shock, I just secure it. No need to screw it in properly. As long as the shock tool can measure both sides, then you should be good to go !
I used M3s at the top, too. But when I fastened the bottom, it was either too loose or too tight - I'll have to look into this.
