Thumbs up

After running the Ve8 for about a year, the RC8Be has given a pleasant welcome. Their is so much adjusability built into this car.

For now i set it up box stock with 5/5/3 instead of 5/5/5. The steering is amazing. I was a little suspicious of 25 weight oil all around, but after i tried it it was very smooth over the bumps and never bottomed out. The suspension did settle a bit and needed readjustment.

Next is the 10x1.1 tapered pistons. For those of you running box stock, what can be expected with 5k in the rear? The car as it sits had a ton of both on power and off power steering, i kept cutting into corners trying to get use to it.

My motor (2650 @+3 degrees on 4S) ran 30 degrees cooler than a similar same roll out as opposed to the Ve8. This could have been a combination of a more efficient drive train or the benefit of running a aluminum mount and chassis as opposed to the plastic chassis of the Ve8.
