The 07-08 version is still an excellent rubber tire carpet car. Absolutely get an 08 diff for the rear.
Reliability is not an issue. The softer f/r arms (#5/#30) hold up a lot better than the stiffer ones (#80) and provide a certain amount of flex for rubber on carpet.
I went back and forth with using spools or one-ways for different circumstances. Do you know which you have for the front end?
Still keep finding 07-08 carpet related parts around after selling both of mine. Is there anything you are looking for?
