I totally agree with all what you say. Slower is faster and I also think that most of the people would be faster with a slower car, with no doubt. I know about what you're talking.

During my second race I had to stay slow because I wanted too keep the same lipo during all the final. Result: I managed to run my car during 20 minutes with the same lipo (5000mah 4S) with my 2200kv motor. I finished 3rd -I began the RC this year-. I drove with almost worn out tires from the beginning to the end, and didn't even touch any setup. Clean and slow driving is definitely the way to go.

Is there a big difference of smoothness between the 1350kv and 1550kv motor in 6S? Is it really noticeable?

You're right concerning the top end, it's not there that I will gain time. I ordered the 1350kv and just had a sudden doubt and came back on my choice when I read the reactions of many forum members here in France. They are all for the 1550 in 6S when you're all for the 1350. Thanks a lot for your patience
