I like the soft rears pretty much everywhere I run it, even on carpet so far.

They get the "death groove" quickly tho, the foam shifts to the outside edge then the inside edge gets the groove worn into it.
You'll see but the tires work pretty nicely, especially on the very first run.
After that they settle in to a consistant tire for many good runs, then the groove.
Fresh set of soft rear and kit/medium fronts and it doesn't get much better than that so save a set for when it really counts and practice with the "scuffed" sets.

I stole Lunsford turnbuckles and Losi cups and balls from a retired buggy.
