I'm looking over the mill now, and everything seems top notch. Just a quick question though: I found a couple of head shims (1 aluminum, 1 copper) in the box. Do these need to be added, or is the head already shimmed for 30%?

the engine is already shimmed correctly for 30%..... those are just spares in case you ever need to make adjustments or lose or damage a shim......Sometimes depending on conditions I may want you to make a slight adjustment to your head shimming, so I figure it best to give you the shims you may need to do that......
