The slotting of the front end helps with the from cracking between teh two front vents through the windshield.
I've torn out the back out of every one of my 8 buggy bodies. Wether it was a nitro one, or my E ones. I can't really run the extra piece of plastic because the JC bodies won't allow it. Plus, I'm not really sure how that would help? I've never had a problem with the front but the JC bodies don't have the issues that the Losi bodies do, in that area. I'll try and post a pic of what I am talking about, with my bodies, this weekend if I get a chance. If this point didn't tear out, my bodies would last a year, easy. Might have to mount my new one with velcro only but I don't want it popping off if the chassis flexes a bunch.
