I would say that 250 to 267 would be considered hot to me. I have never had an engine get up to this temp so quick. I mean when I get to where I like it, and its warmed up, I temp it. And that consisted of maybe 1 to 2 min of short blips of the throttle to get it to "temp." Before I can do any adjusting to get it to run better. Then I temp it and to me its hot. Or what is a good rule of hot being to hot. I mean there is smoke, almost through the whole power band. I like how quick it is at 260. But that is with the body off. Just worried how much hotter it will get under race conditions, with the body on.
