Then you need to find another local hobby shop that serves all the nitro onroad racers at your track. Just go to your local track and ask around. Not only that sometimes the local racers may have a spare car they want to sell cheap. Whatever is the car that works at your local track and that is supported locally is the one you want.
BTW, you need to check out the prices for spares of your intended car before you buy. Both the G4RS and the XRay NT1 have incredibly high spare parts cost.
