yes deans are the prefered brand but.....that doesnt mean you have to buy the "Deans brand" off the shelf at $3.25 for one set, and like everything else thiers after market deans and can be had for like 10 sets for like $15...welcome to the world of the model hobby, been in the hobby 40 yrs and Im not hooked
