It uses tc3 differentials and gears. I used an 81 tooth spur and a 17 tooth pinion, is that bad gearing, because my truck seemed almost as slow as a stock motor with 72/28 gearing.
I geared it for torque.

you should try 19/81 a mod motor doesnt need tourq.. you need midrange and run time ... just my 2 cents..
