not so sure i would want to run the 6mm in the toro with the characteristics and nature of that engine design but

usually jumping down to 6mm from 6.5 there is always a drastic change in tune , dont ask me why cause i really dont have a definitive answer on that one but my best guess is that size venturi is the threshold of proper air/intake and jetting ??

the way the venturis work it doesnt necessarily cutoff the idle gap but it does disrupt airflow quite a bit . remember 6mm needs to be ran very lean , highly doubt you will see low engine temps and a properly running engine with small restrictors

tuning engines is fun

not
see above

absolutely bro , shouldnt be an issue unless you get into the newer lowered team heads
I like the 7mm in the standard Toro Nero... It isn't too much or too little, Plus I got 10 minutes of runtime consitsently in the Buggy and with the 9853ss.

On the P5 I use the 7.5, but I might try the 7 just to see what happens.

By the way monty. I had a friends 367 Nova, the blue one, and it was running funny, so I put a 99 OD plug in it, and problems solved. Those 7 ports seem to like colder plugs. Should I try the 99 in my p5 too for the summer. the mc-8 isn't lasting very long in the hot Texas summer....and my engines are running about 220 in the winter and about 250-260 in the summer, is that too hot???? It seems to be fine, I really don't tune for temps, but I thought you may have some insight.....
