Hopefully I'm posting my question in the correct thread.
My friend and I have been running HPI Blitz's around our neighborhood streets for the past few weeks , both of us using Castle Sidewinder 1:10 / 4600 Kv motor combos. A sale at our LHS forced me to purchase the 5700 motor, hoping to see a fairly good increase in performance. To my surprise, absolutely no increase in top speed I'm using a 4000 mah / 20c 2S lipo with stock gearing. What am I missing??? Why would these different powered motors have the same performance? Does the 5700 Kv motor just allow for higher gearing (hence more speed)? Is the 20C battery limiting the amp flow? I'm lost
