If you go to the Novarossi web site and watch the video clip of Adam Drake on tuning he states that a good starting point for a “race tune” for the HSN on the Plus 21 is “flush to a 1/4 to ˝ turn in. If you use the “factory setting “ of 3.5 turns out as a base line, it is a long way from flush! Is a “race tune” that far from the “factory setting” of 3.5? Every time I try to lean out the HSN that much, the temps shoot up. I have never gotten close to a HSN of flush. Granted, the engine is still fairly new. Maybe close to 2 gallons at the most. There is still a slight mechanical pinch. I use Byron’s 25%, O’Donnell T98 plug, and a 6.5 card insert. You thoughts would be appreciated! Maybe I am just over analyzing things!
