I think the main reason the 1/10 track is holding up better is the fact that it is on the flat part of the lot. The 1/8 track has crazy runoff where as the 1/10 does not. The flipside is that the 1/8 track is dry in a matter of hours after it rains, and the 1/10 takes a day or two. I really don't think we are ever going to fix the problem of runoff on the 1/8 track. Even if we go in and sift rocks out and pack it good, it will just wash away in the next hard rain. Since rainy season is over now, I think if we go in and rake it again and rent a couple of plate compactors we should be good for the summer.
August I will have lots of free time as my wife and kids are going to Miyako for the month, so I'm up for whatever we decide.
