Although i have owned my fair share of other cars, i am a diehard AE fan. I had hoped for more with the Tc5. To this day i still use a heavily modified version of the Tc3/Tc4, and do fairly well with it. Im still cutting teeth on the whole brushless/LiPo tech, and that wonderful Tekin RS... but having a 'simple' car makes it that much easier to put it down and do well.

I definitely agree you would be better off with another car for modified class, if that is something you do decide to get into (17.5 is pretty dang quick for what it is). CF chassis with aluminum bulkhead designs are more consistent and handle the added power much better. Notice however, i didnt say i thought the belt drive was better. Just the general design and materials used.
