yes the front to rear balance has no holes but the pins still sit under the chassis fine..I usually end up doing front to back weight by looking at tire wear....

if you corner balance your car with the shock on using scales you will go crazy due to slight differences in each shock length and dampening and the fact that they can move
if you want to do it this is the way:

step one: make 4 turnbuckles the same length as the shocks,

step 2: balance using lead or xray weights

step 3: put the shocks on and tweak the car using the scales and the shock collars to adjust



you may not even want the car balanced front to rear, it may handle better heavier on one end depending on the track layout etc.....
