A plug as hot as the P3 can actually mask a low-speed
needle adjustment that is too rich. You may want to run
a little colder plug if your going to start removing head
shims. I ran my JL every day this week. The temps here
have been near 90*f. with very high humidity. It's like
standing in a sauna. My JL didn't need any tweeking.
The engines temps are running about ten degrees hotter
and it's got all the, tire shreading low-end balls, that
it had when it was twenty degrees cooler outside.
