You can take the Plug out and check to see if it has any Metal to Metal Pinch Left. If the piston gets stuck at TDC then you need to keep heating it with the Heat gun.
But to be honest i use a Heat gun all the time i have a motor that has 11 gallons on it and i use a heat gun on it to this day it make it EZer to start and help with the tune.
Look at the Competition Heat all you do is put it on you head Plug it in and it keeps your motor Right at 200 in temps and you can leave it hooked up all day. Ron at Cold Fusion sales them Give him a call he can fix you up.
