What brand would you all recommend? I have seen alot of the Odonnell ones at the track and bunch that don't have a label, probably the really expensive ones! I am on a budget so please don't tell me the top of line expensive ones.
Thank you!!
glad you got if figured out... some things we all over look... i use a temp gun only and only as a reference point... i run the vehicle until the motor feels good. good smoke and low end.... and a nice hint of smoke on the high end...
for temp guns i have and o'donnell, ofna, duratrax and an exergen... yes i use the exergen 99% of the time but when i have any doubts i use all of them to check against each other... all 4 are within 10 degree's of each other... if 1 is way higher i send it in for repair after i change the battery and recheck...
all a temp gun is for reference only... if there is smoke you are always good... no smoke then stop and richen up right away.... read the tuning bible on top of the nitro section. follow that and you will always have a good strong running engine.... jeremy
