Maybe that's the problem I have had with the SD. I usually run on high bite relatively smooth tracks. Not always, but usually and that is where I have done most of my testing with them. I guess I will have to try the SD again next time I'm on a loose, bumpy track.

I really love the Smart diff on dusty tracks with low to med traction. You get a bit more off power steering but at high speeds it likes to push a bit. It really smooths out the diff response and keeps the wheels from spinning too much.
The standard diff has a bit less off power steering, but no high speed push. On high traction tracks, the standard diff is all I will run. It's much more responsive with throttle input.
