fuddy, sounds like you still need to lean the bottom some. Glow plugs can pop like that if the bottom is too rich, the excess fuel under pressure rips the coil in half. the p4's maybe a tad easier to tune, and if it ran better with a p4 its deff because the bottom is fat. also if you feel your not getting the grunt out of the corners try clutching up a bit cause it should rip on the bottom.
Thanks Joe, I will continue to run my current tune with the P4 I have installed. If it runs reliably than I will leave it otherwise I will work the low speed leaner a little at a time.
As far as clutches go I am running the stock Losi setup that comes with the race roller, it's the four blue aluminum shoes and the springs they have installed, what are they the Green and Black? What springs would you recommend, what do you run Joe? If I can get the punch I get in the middle at the bottom, this thing will feel damn near electric. I am running the Ofna 086 pipe with the [ shaped manifold, would I get more low end from a ( shaped manifold?
