Iwas going to say the other thing you could try that might work is closing your air gap some. The way I have mine set right now you can hardly see any gap at all with the restrictor in. This will lower your idle so your forced to lean out the bottom some. One of the guys at our track is running one with a JP 4 and he as no problems at all. He is actually quicker than I am in a few spots on the track.
I know I always get hung up on small details.. but is this barely visible air gap seen when looking straight down the carb or at an angle? I know that the gap can be small enough to not be visible if you look straight down in there. Just curious to see how other people do it.
