I never have been a tuning wizard on these things and really after 4 seasons back to racing after 10 off this is my traing motor.
Sonny Holder(retired from Mercury Outboard Racing) tuned my motors for the 1st season. Age and knee replacements sidelined him....
So I've had alo of good racers help me since...I think it was time for me to step up to learn this part of the set up now.
Again, I really appreciate all that you guys have done for me as far as answering my stupid questions.

Easyrider ! LOL. ..

My whole point is this...The OFNA JL is an excelent engine, it brings to the table some very advanced design as well as exceptional build quality at a very affordable price....Because of these attributes it makes for an engine I really like to modify....IMO there is not a stock offroad .21 that can make the power and RPM of my modified JL at any price.....Stock the JL is as kickass as any other .21 out there, but modified it is an absolute demon ! it is what it is...I sell the engine both stock and modified, and in both cases it offers amazing bang for the buck...All the same reasons you guys are liking it soo much stock, are the same reasons i like it modified...it offers top level performance at a budget price....... Shop around and see if you can find anything at under $200.00 that can match the stock JL, and same thing for my modified at $250.00, The mod JL will absolutely smoke the ass off anything anywhere near its price range..To find an engine that will pull on the mod JL your going to spend big bucks on a modified of some sort to do it as I don't see anything stock being able to do it, no way .... I have had modified engines faster then my mod JL, but your paying nearly double the money to get them...for example my modified C6 is ballistic, but its cost is close to $500.00 out the door...Never before I have I been able to deliver this kind of bang at anywhere near this price range....

.either way the JL is a fantastic little engine both modified and stock and IMO the best value in the offroad engine market today.........
