It is realy depend on a lot of varibles-weather condition, notro content, altitude etc.
I am running 20 % Nitro and using Nelson HD special, which is medium cold plug, similar to #6, but Nelson plugs are different internal design, so it can't be transfer to Novas turbos. If you running 30 % nitro in hot weather I will sugest to use Novas#8 and colder weather-#7. I will include with every engine chart of head volume ( refer to head shiming) depend of Nitro content.
And then you get to the UK and find yourself running between #3 and #5 all year round
. Boys it is cold here. Ice on the ground and only 3 weeks to we start racing. Getting the chains sorted now
