All the internal gears are plastic which should be ok in theory. However they are moulded and have some sink marks on the flat side of the gears. In fact the instructions ask you to "polish" them on some sandpaper to ensure a flat surface...
The shaft the small pinion gears ride on is also plastic and moulded as a one-piece cross-shaped part. In other gear diffs, there are normally 2 shafts that cross over each other.
It will be interesting to see how durable it is with the plastic internals. It might be ok since everything is swimming in oil anyway. Other than that, it is a pretty standard issue gear diff. It is nice and smooth. Can't wait to test it out soon!

just wondering your opinion on the spec r diff, have you tried running your tc with it fitted....thanks
