i dont know if this goes for or against Tekin but me and my buddies were trying some drag racing and burnt up an rs-pro and sent it in for a repair pretty confident that it was outside of warranty coverage, but from what i understand from my friends we got a free replacement just because they went "huh, thats a neat way for it to have broken". apparently we fried it in a new and interesting way that impressed them and we were still with in the warranty time span so they gave us a new one.
as much as Tekin wins and sells, people forget that it is (as i understand it) not much more than a "mom and pop" company. Castle Creations is a "Walmart" by comparison to Tekin. some may say their stuff is overpriced but i believe tekin is working for and earning the money they get.
as for hobbywing, i am unfamiliar with their product and have no comment.
