So far I have partially stripped the "d" on 2 bevel gears but this is due to the fact that the drive shaft is too short in my opinion as the end of my drive shaft is still good with no noticable wear.
i think i can get away with using the damaged bevel gears in the rear diff as the driveshaft extends ouf far enough to stick out of the bevel gear.
