It is a little intimidating reading Hyperion's warnings, but I've upgraded both of my 0610i several times thru the various firmware upgrades and never had any probs. The how-tos are clear and well written and if you follow them, you shouldn't have any prob. I do mine using a laptop also.

I am a little disappointed that the 0610iNet and orig Duos will not run the new EOS Control Suite, but I'm surprised they are still updating these older chargers anyway.
