There are a lot of chargers that look similiar, but venom's have fans, where a lot of the cheap ones don't. Also venom customer service is pretty good.

I did a lot of research before I purchased a charger. The Venom is a nice charger but it is the exact same charger as the Thunder AC-6 minus the fan. Is the fan needed? Nope, not at all. I have charger many batteries back to back and have had zero heat issues. A smarter choice would be to get the Thunder AC-6 and take the money you save and purchase some quality lipos.
