We give more power to the motor than other esc's do. This can cause some current draw or "ripple" current that some DSM's respond to better than others. Spektrum offers a rx cap for just this reason.
It's worth trying. I don't have the issue all the time but have had it in the past. The class I personally had the most issues in was 4wd offroad mod.
