Yup the ta05ms is a very good car. Especially for carpet as the chassis is very stiff.

Will you be running foam or rubber?

Anyhows here is my basic set-up

Tyres - Gecko 32's at the front and Gecko 30's at the back
Shocks / springs - tamiya Whites (50wt oil) at the front and Tamiya Blues (40wt) at the back - I also have the hop up blue retainers to lower the springs another 1mm.
Stabilizer - med front - Soft Rear
Ride height -4.5 front 5 rear
Droop- 1mm front 2mm rear

I run a 28t pinion (std 105t spur) and a SP9.5 with a GT 2.0 esc (limited edition blue one of course LOL!).

The car is great! responsive and lethal on the infield.

I was thinking about doing the big pulley conversion (35, 18) it will reduce the idr to 1.944. But the car is winning most weeks so I cant see the need to change it atm.
