the shimo clutch is a similar setup to the sirio clutch where the weights sit on a pin and pivot out from there , which allows a bigger cap and more aggressive clutch without losing your fly weights ,which happened on ocassion with the old clutch , check out pics if you can find them and yes they are completly different
