I think this will be a good thread to all new joiners as I am really starting from the beggining. I have owned many electric cars growing up (nothing comp grade though). I would really like to get into Nitro onroad or nitro off road. From what I've heard (from Hobby Link in orchard), Onroad is the most popular with the most places to run. Currently I am leaning towards the Xray NT1, as I would like to build it to help me learn, but I want something that is going to challange me. So after the long introduction, here are my questions:

1.) Thoughts on on-road vs off-road Nitro RC kits?
2.) Places to run the Onroad Nitro 1/10.
3.) Any clubs to join that get together (even in parking lots) just to hang out and enjoy the cars.
4.) Best place to purchase.
5.) Can you order online?

Thanks for any help and advice!

Mike
1) On-road & off-road both have their good points. It all depends on which u prefer.
4) X-ray can be bought from Far East Plaza at Orchard Road. For off-road 1/10, BK at Bottletree. 1/8 nitro can be bought at Swan Models at Orchard Plaza, Hobbylink at Turf City. Which brand names do you prefer?

5) Again, depending on what you want to run. Most brands can be bought at the rc shops here. If not, some can order for you.
